Alliance Mining Commodities Limited (AMC) is a privately owned company focussed on bauxite exploration in the northwest of the Republic of Guinea.
The Company is the holder of four bauxite exploration Permits known as Concession No 180 . The Concession covers an area of 1400 square kilometres in the Boké – Gaoual Region. Deposits are located in the northern part of the Kogon – Tomine interfluve, a region that contains 25 percent of Guinea’s bauxite.
Bauxite mining in the region has been going on for many years and is the main export income earner for the country. AMC is planning to be the first independent bauxite miner in the area.
AMC has strong relationships in Guinea and the principals of the Company have been involved in mining in Guinea and other parts of Africa for many years.
The exploration program has identified high-grade resources of more than 400 million tonnes of bauxite (indicated and inferred). With low reactive silica and high Gibbsite content, the project will deliver a premium quality product in line with the other producers in the area.
AMC has formally applied to the Government of Guinea for a Mining Concession covering approximately half of the area of the exploration permits. |
